Jefferson Consulting Group is seeking an IT Product Manager to support the U.S. Forest Service.
This role will be Remote.

Responsibilities:
Support the development of technical requirements for IT systems.
Participate in technology demonstrations and provide advice and recommendations on technical capabilities.
Act as the interface between the Government and IT contractors to ensure clarity and understanding of all technical issues and to ensure that Government business and operational requirements are being translated and understood by the Contractor's technical team.
Serve as the IT "owner" with regards to technical aspects of the program.
Participate in the Agile software development process.
Work collaboratively with the contractor to ensure all schedule, technical, and operational requirements are satisfied.
Use the results of Sprints to establish goals for subsequent Sprints.
Participate as a fully integrated member of the government's program office.
Be responsible for efforts such as:
Maintaining the authority-to-operate.
Evaluating data request for privacy and security impacts.
Assessing security of features.
Review JIRA tickets.
Extracting data for reporting.
Updating leadership on performance.
Required Qualifications:
15 years of experiencing managing the development of complex IT solutions
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
SCRUM-master certified
Agile Practitioner Certified
Demonstrated experience with JIRA
Ability to pass a federal background investigation
