JBT Corporation an Oshkosh Aero Tech Company is Hiring an Airport Services Administrative Assistant Philadelphia Intl Airport Near Philadelphia, PA

OVERVIEW:
JBT Airport Services is an industry leading, dedicated provider of Maintenance Services to Airlines throughout North America. Our maintenance services cover the full range of service from 24 hour, 7 day per week on-site service and emergency call out, to periodic maintenance of equipment based on technical visits quarterly, semi-annually, and/or annually with supplementary emergency support and call out as needed.

This position is located at the Philadelphia International Airport.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist day-to-day business operations of the office as directed by Site Manager
  • Verify timekeeping records and report any discrepancies
  • Track spreadsheets and time keeping system to provide necessary payroll information to Corporate
  • Record employee complaints, questions and concerns about payroll services and communicate those issues to Site HR
  • Assist in payroll and benefit administration and submit timely reports to Corporate when requested
  • Assist the Site Manager in preparation of work orders, manage inventory and coordinate vendor payments
  • Track and update records and manage monthly invoices
  • Comply with company safety program and training
  • Perform other business-related duties as assigned or needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of Administrative Assistant, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Work in a fast-paced environment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand/eye coordination
is required.

Work Environment: Office environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent. Associates Degree in Business preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 2 years of payroll experience with a background in: Administrative and Clerical Duties, Payroll and Human Resource, and bookkeeping duties
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel (workbook entry, creation, formulas)
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport
  • Monday - Friday dayshift work schedule with occasional weekends
