Job Title: Medical Office Assistant
Ideal part-time job Monday through Thursday 8:30-1:30 flexible one half hour before or after!
Great for student interested in healthcare or parent with children in school.
Willing to train someone without healthcare experience!
Must be reliable and willing to multitask.
Responsibilities:
-Assist front office and back office employees.
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies
- Assist healthcare providers with basic medical procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical office administration is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
