PROJECT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

ABOUT JACKOVIC CONSTRUCTION:

Jackovic Construction Company is a Pittsburgh, PA based retail commercial construction general contractor completing buildouts for national organizations.

Position Summary:

We are a mid-sized organization looking for an individual who enjoys working independently to produce results with a dedicated team of similar individuals as an experienced Construction Project Manager who understands the challenges of retail construction, plus the rewards of completing these fast-paced projects.

The ideal candidate must be able to work full-time in office, perform take offs, schedule projects within the client's timeframe of completion, manage all trades, manage the construction of interior renovations, manage superintendents and project assistants. Assist the billing specialists and project accountants to approve invoices and client invoicing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong computer skills with Microsoft products and Excel.
• Must be able to be in the office Monday-Friday
• Must be able to create a job schedule
• Estimated 25% travel to evaluate projects under construction and complete walkthroughs.
• Review plans with assistant project managers to allow them to procure subcontractors.
• Perform take offs, compile bids, qualify subcontractors, submit final bids to clients.
• Negotiate and administer contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Daily coordination with field superintendent regarding subcontractors and the schedule.
• Submit updates to clients per the clients’ guidelines.
• Process subcontractor and vendor invoices.
• Complete and submit payment applications to clients.
• Follow up and coordinate completion of punch lists.
• Honest, organized, passion for construction and know how to get it done.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliably commute to work
• Driver’s License (Required)
• Willingness to travel; 25% of the time (Preferred)

SPECIAL NOTE:MUST pass a drug test and have a clean criminal background history for consideration. Both will be run before the official job offer is made.

Must be willing to work in our corporate office located in Pittsburgh, PA ~ Mt. Lebanon / Castle Shannon vicinity.
