Job description
Work location will be split between two offices: Mount Washington, Pgh, PA & Irwin, PA
We are seeking a self motivated and organized Project Manager to add to our pre-construction office team of Parry Custom Homes in Irwin PA. This position will be responsible to coordinate and project manage the steps needing completed during the pre-construction process. This is the process after they sign a contract with us to build their home and prior to starting construction of their home. Our customers want to get their home started in construction, and you will be the main point of contact during the pre-construction phase to help them to achieve this!
You will be working with customers to complete items for them and to also help guide them through the process in an organized and enjoyable process. You will also be working with other vendors and contractors such as township permit offices, surveyors, excavators, etc to ensure they understand their scope of work and will be ready to complete their work on time so we can get our customer's home started. You will be doing a mix between project management and also doing administrative work such as filling out permit applications and coordinating documents.
The top skills needed for someone to be successful at this position is to be extremely organized, good communication, a self starter, and a team player. This person must also be able to be able to think on their feet and have the ability to problem solve a situation to ensure a task is completed the best way possible while also being complete in a timely manner.
