Job Summary
This is a full-time ONSITE (office 4 days/Remote 1 day) position responsible for coordinating outside plant construction activities in support of new residential and/or commercial network construction.
Works with customer management and staff along with other business partners to develop project cost estimates and budgets.
Monitors enterprise project intake portals to accept, assign, and close out tasks within defined service level agreements (SLA’s).
Facilitates updates to internal and external customer job management systems.
Core Responsibilities
Develop job cost estimates, monitor costs, evaluates change orders and controls the cost of work in progress to budget.
Coordinates all phases of construction projects including pre-construction meetings, site surveys, permit and license applications, make-ready, design and documentation, material procurement, contract labor requirements, and plant activation.
Monitors project/job intake portals, update job and task status.
Communicates regularly with Managers and to review job funnels, schedules, and tasks.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Need to be a self-starter, have a strong work ethic with keen focus on details and task deliverable dates.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QualificationsMinimum of 2 to 4 years relevant work experience, developed knowledge in outside plant construction practices and disciplines
Familiarity with National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and Telcordia Bluebook of Outside Plant Construction Practices
Practical working knowledge of Excel, MS Teams, MS Project, Salesforce Job/Task Management
