J & J Staffing Resources is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Federalsburg, MD
Our client in Federalsburg, MD is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This is a 4 – 6 month position with a schedule of 7AM – 4PM. This position offers $18-22/hr based on experience.
Essential Duties:
- Maintain accounts payable policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues or disputes related to payments or invoices
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, including aging reports, cash flow projections, and vendor performance
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes
- Preparing and recording journal entries for direct debit bank payments
- Assist with audits and provide documentation and support as needed
- Process and file annual 1099 tax reports with vendors and the IRS
Qualifications & Skills:
- Sage Experience required
- Service Titan experience preferred but not required
