Job Description

Bello Machre is now hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist for our finance team. The Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist manages accounts payable using our accounting software. He/she is responsible for ensuring all invoices and bills are paid in a timely manner while adhering to departmental procedures. In addition, he/she will assist with annual audits, provide backup for payroll processing, and provide assistance to our Chief Finance Officer (CFO).

Qualifications

• A BS degree in accounting from a four-year college or university is required
• At least two years of experience working in accounts payable, accounting, or finance
• Experience with accounts receivable and payroll preferred
• Must be able to deal with confidential information appropriately
• Must demonstrate the ability to resolve problems and conflict effectively

Responsibilities

• Verifies, processes, and reconciles payments for all AP invoices and check requests
• Processes Bello Machre mortgage, petty cash, and personal needs allowances for allocations each month
• Completes and maintains Fixed Assets, Lease Improvement, and invoice CDA for escrow account spending
• Provides backup for payroll processing and assistance to CFO
• Assists with annual audit process
