Program Description:
We are looking for Information Technology (IT), Engineering, and Science majors that are Junior, Senior, or Graduate candidates to join one of the best places to work in the Tampa Bay area. All students from an accredited college or university are eligible to apply. If you are not an IT, Engineering, and Science major but can show past or current projects (e.g. software development) you are also eligible for consideration.
All Research Assistants MUST be eligible to obtain Department of Defense clearance. This includes: Clean criminal background, clean financial background, US Citizenship.
University of South Florida (USF) is managing this Research Assistance Program and you will be a paid employee through USF regardless of which college or university in which you are currently enrolled. Iron EagleX (IEX) will be providing mentorship and project experience. Additionally, you will receive professional certifications depending on which role you are performing. We will be developing career tracks for: Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, and Software Engineers with potential for full time employment with IEX at the end of the program.
