Summary
Position Summary:
The Grant Management Office, Research Financial Analysts (GMO-RFAs) is tasked with providing guidance to faculty regarding NIH, DoD, SoF, and internal and external foundation awards. The GMO facilitates faculty and Leadership with the management and allocation of funds to support the science being conducted in both the lab and clinical trials. In addition, the office ensures that compliance is being met according to sponsor guidelines and that all charges are both allocable and allowable. The office is also tasked with collaborating with the Office of Sponsored Research and Research Finance Office to submit grant proposals and file financial reports at the end of budget and grant periods.
The Research Financial Analyst I manage all phases of research award administration include pre and post award. The primary function of the role is research fund portfolio management, including: budget forecasting, monitoring utilization to ensure fiscal compliance, resolving accounting issues and providing direct financial advisory services.
