Account Executive, Data Driven Marketing

Location: Boston

About the Opportunity

We’re hiring! We are currently looking for an Account Executive, Data-Driven Marketing to join our Data Driven Futures Team. This role will focus on building trusting relationships between clients and agency experts. The client services team ensures the successful delivery of projects while contributing to the overall growth of the business. 

This role will focus on managing client relationships and project deliverables to assure Iris is providing the highest level of service to our clients. Building and managing relationships with external client stakeholders are essential for success and critical to the ongoing success of our growing agency. 

The Account Executive will work closely with our experienced campaign managers, martech specialists and data scientists to lead efforts towards helping our clients achieve their business objectives. This is a client-facing role responsible for coordinating all aspects of client interaction and seeking out opportunities to provide additional value through enhanced services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

You will support 1-2 of our leading retained relationship clients, with account delivery being a key focus. 

  • Develop effective data driven marketing solutions to help the client achieve their business objectives. 
  • Build and maintain trusting client relationships
  • Be an integral part of the project delivery team and transform internal & external challenges into opportunities for growth. 
  • Manage client expectations with respect to scope of work and campaign status. 
  • Ensure all deliverables exceed client expectations and enhance our reputation. 
  • Be energetic about what you do, take pride in your work and be the one bringing new ideas to the team every week. 
  • Schedule and lead regular and ad hoc meetings/calls/business reviews with clients. 
  • Qualify client requests and developing agreed priorities by balancing level of effort and impact. 
  • Gather and analyze insights and data to determine the most valuable opportunities to improve marketing performance 
  • Present data, insights, and recommendations to clients 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3 years’ work experience which demonstrates an understanding of direct-to-consumer marketing principles
  • Working understanding of data activation as it relates to CRM, customer journeys and performance media
  • Experience in designing data-driven multichannel relationship marketing strategies utilizing web, mobile, social, email, and traditional marketing channels
  • Experience working with loyalty programs and their data is preferred, but not required 
  • Digitally fluent, with developing knowledge of digital marketing best practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate insights and ideas to a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients in a highly professional manner 
  • Evidence of effective client management and growth skillset. 
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple clients and manage complex projects in a deadline-focused environment 
  • Strong leadership skills, attention to detail and willingness to work outside the role as needed 
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple groups, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with limited guidance 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree (required)
