Job Details
IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to work as a contract resource supporting multiple projects. The resource will act as a business analyst for various in-flight projects including Software as a Service solutions, vendor supported systems, and custom web applications. This resource will serve as a liaison between their business partners and development teams, gathering requirements from the business users, facilitating meetings, writing user stories, and developing required project documentation deliverables.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Location: Lansing, MI Hybrid. Local candidates ONLY (within 1.5 hrs driving distance). No relocation Allowed.
Contract: 1 years
Skills Required:
- 5 years - Experience designing technical and business requirement documentation (mockups, business process models, workflow diagrams, etc.)
- 5 years - Experience with Agile methodology/SCRUM processes and ceremonies including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning and Reviews, etc.
- 5 years Experience gathering requirements from users (GAP analysis, SWOT analysis, assessing business needs, etc.)
- 3 years Experience working with Azure DevOps backlog management, Kanban board, Sprint board, etc.
- Senior level understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC).
- Experience writing test plans and use cases.
- Working knowledge of Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM) and Project Management Methodology (PMM)
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
