IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking for a Salesforce/QA Tester. This position requires that the candidate be comfortable with testing Salesforce applications and utilizing Azure DevOps for designing, maintaining, and executing test cases.

Tasks

• Work in an agile environment and understand agile methodologies.
• Participate in vendor requirement sessions with customers and understand the requirements and be comfortable writing Test Plans/Test Suites in Azure DevOps and easily maintainable for SOM.
• Work with the customer, vendor, and Development Team to define Test scripts based on requirements for new projects and any future enhancements.
• Participate in defining and designing activities of the project engagement, to ensure a full understanding of client requirements prepared by the project team.
• Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments of the applications used by the enterprise.
• Identify automation framework and make recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure testing results meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Develops and writes automated test scripts and plans to ensure that software functions as expected.
• Work with test engineers to implement new automation scripts and diagnose problems with existing scripts in a Continuous Integration environment.
• Ensures the proposed solutions adhere to SOM security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
• Participation in each phase of full Salesforce lifecycle implementations.
• Devise a training plan for the team for a smooth and successful transition to Maintenance & Operations.
  • Analyze the impact of new solutions/enhancements and run appropriate regression testing.
• Document and evaluate test results and defects, track and manage defects through resolution in Azure DevOps.
• Ensure full traceability between test scripts, results, and client requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing test scripts.

Skills Required:

• 6 years - Salesforce QA/testing.
• 4 years - Salesforce Service Cloud.
• 4 years - Azure DevOps Test Suite.
• 4 years Experience with understanding of Salesforce Production and Sandboxes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps with Prepare Test Suites.
• Experience in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Experience with quality assurance methodologies and automation testing tools.
• Experience in interpreting requirements/user stories.
• Experience in writing positive and native test cases in Azure DevOps as per Salesforce Application needs.

Skills Desired A plus to have:

• 4 years - Nice in-contact Testing.
• 1 year SQL.
• 1 year - Selenium/Test Automation or other Test automation tools.
• Experience in State of Michigan Processes and guidelines.
• Salesforce object knowledge such as flows, AppExchange packages, Lightning, Apex, and Significant QA Experience. (Real-world experience or actual hands-on background with Salesforce).
• Familiarity with testing salesforce service cloud, including web services and Rest API, SOAP API, and Bulk API, using tools like SoapUI, Postman, or similar applications.
• Knowledge of testing/QA best practices.
• Experience creating and utilizing test scripts.
