IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking for a Atlassian Enterprise Architect. The position requires recent Atlassian Cloud software implementation experience that can provide guidance and lead the client towards the use of vendor best practices while migrating to Atlassian Cloud products.

Tasks

• Offer expert advice and guidance on best practices for using Atlassian tools.
• Work closely with team to understand and evaluate our existing infrastructure and business processes.
• Use knowledge of delivered products to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions.
• Interface across several business areas, acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects.
• Create a detailed implementation plan.
• Lead the migration process from our current setup to Atlassian Cloud
• Ensure data integrity and minimal disruption during the transition.
• Configure and customize Atlassian products (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) as needed.
• Experience in Identity Management setup (single sign on via Shibboleth), support for five main LDPs, license management, and system administration overview.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct Atlassian product demonstrations as needed.
• Provide ongoing support and training to JIRA project admin and users.

Location: 100% Remote within the State of Wisconsin. Local candidates are those willing to relocate prior to starting at their own expense.

Contract: 6 months

Skills Required:

• 2 years - Experience with complex Atlassian Cloud implementations
• 2 years - Experience/Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• 2 years - Experience in Identity Management setup (single sign on via Shibboleth), support for five main LDPs, license management, and system administration overview
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with Confluence
• Experience with Bitbucket

Skills Desired A plus to have:

• Experience in Higher Education or Government industry
• Experience creating implementation plans
