School requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or greater (Finance, Business, Communications, or an equivalent to the similar field)
Experience:
• 2-3 years operations/service experience (mandatory)
• 4 years preferred
• Experience with any of the following: Salesforce, Orion, Charles Schwab, TD Ameritrade is highly desired.
• Able to work in our Indianapolis, IN office
Keys:
• Experience and knowledge in the financial services field preferably with handling operations and service-related items
• Knowledge in portfolios, mutual funds, ETFs, stocks, bonds, etc. mandatory
• Organized and extremely detail oriented is a must
• Multitasker | Multiple requests between different advisors with different deadlines. Must be able to switch gears and operate in a fast-paced environment within a growing firm
• Must be team oriented and driven to go the extra mile!
Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining continuous audits of the firm’s investment advisory accounts
• Taking charge as our lead service coordinator processing money movements, wires, journals and a multitude of requests within our custodians
• Assists Director of Investment Operations in processing of audits and special projects
• Support operations department and advisors with maintaining all information for client accounts
• General account reconciliation, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
• Some general administrative support to the Director of Investment Operations
• Onboarding lead will include training advisors and paraplanners on service-related items
• Own the account opening process for advisors and provide service, follow up and guidance.
• Assist in servicing life insurance for current clients.
• Own lines of credit processing for company.
