Position Summary:
The Marketing Operations,Technology and Digital specialist for Sharpen will be responsible for improving operational capacity and performance across the marketing function, including marketing and creative planning, project management, governance, budget management, working with Demand Gen lead on SEO/SEM, and marketing technology platform administration. The Specialist will coordinate key marketing and creative projects and tactics, ensuring all deliverables are produced on time and meet the established brand and quality standards of Sharpen. The Marketing Ops Specialist will organize meeting agendas/follow-ups, build detailed planning documents, manage cross-functional projects/timelines, and provide timely analytics/reporting to drive continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with marketing/communications leadership and partner strategies to develop dashboards and reports to communicate marketing metrics, results, trends and key insights.
  • Drive, own and improve outcomes from Digital, Email and Nurturing, and Webinars.
  • Drive, own and improve outcomes from all marketing systems, including Google Adwords/Analytics/GTM and SEMRush for Search, HubSpot Marketing Hub Enterprise for inbound marketing and automation, and Wordpress for Website CMS.
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales development team to improve outcomes by optimizing landing page to MQL conversion, and MQL to meeting booked and qualified sales pipeline conversion.
  • Coordinate entry of project tasks into project management software (Trello) and track progress and fulfillment of each task.
  • Collaborate with VP of Marketing and other key personnel on budget development and tracking.
  • Collaborate to create, implement, and maintain direct marketing (email and direct mail) schedule and assist with copywriting and proofreading as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of all marketing assets and collateral and assist with distribution as needed.
  • Assist with the scheduling of training and development of marketing team for marketing operations tools.
  • Coordinate with the appropriate sales and partnerships leaders to maintain goals and objectives alignment across department functions.
  • Help define, document, and enforce team goals and objectives within the department of Marketing.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college/university
  • 2 years of project management experience with demonstrated high level of discipline in organizing projects with a wide range of internal/external partners
  • Understanding of marketing and creative development process
  • Expert user of project management software
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub and WordPress CMS expert.
  • Able to act with urgency to solve problems, including project scope change and creep.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Overall eagerness to self-educate, problem-solve, identify and recommend areas for improvement in project execution, and a strong motivation toward producing the best possible work for all clients
  • Strong people skills; must be effective at managing internal and external partners
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Great attention to detail with strong proofreading and editing skills
  • Hands-on experience of managing Google Analytics and Adwords Campaigns to improve primary KPIs and inform organic keyword strategy.
  • Hands-on experience in search engine optimization to identify, monitor and refine realistic target keywords to drive highly relevant organic traffic and lead conversions
  • Ideally has applied HubSpot predictive lead scoring, adaptive testing before, multi-touch revenue attribution and customer journey analytics.
  • Experience of migrating websites following mergers and acquisitions without harming existing organic search engine rankings.
  • Proficient with Google Docs, Mac, and Adobe products preferred
