Interlachen Country Club is seeking a Sous Chef. This role is a key member of Interlachen's culinary team and assists with all dining outlets at the Club. In this role, you will work in an energetic environment alongside supportive teammates with the opportunity to build relationships and create moments that matter every day.

Our Restaurants

· Bobby Jones Pub & Grille - Upscale casual dining, New American concept including hand-cut steak, fresh seafood, and homemade pasta

· Founders Café & Turn Bar - Casual golf-fare for before, during, and after a round

· 1909 Cabana - Fast-casual, poolside dining

· The Lodge - Casual family restaurant serving American classics, including brick-oven pizza, seasonal salads, and interesting sandwiches

· The Fieldhouse - Coffee, smoothies, healthy grab-n-go any time of the day

Responsibilities and Expectations:

Leadership and Teamwork

· Live our values; foster a positive work environment for your team.

· Build a strong relationship with the food and beverage department; ensure ongoing collaboration and communication to exceed expectations.

· Create a continuous teaching environment that focuses on genuine hospitality, timeliness, productivity, proper service, and Interlachen standards.

· Enhance our training program and identify opportunities for growth.

· Understand each team member's position, support their growth and development, and perform duties in their absence.

· Possess a positive attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people and cooperate with co-workers efficiently and effectively.

· Stay on top of culinary trends; stay abreast of our membership's evolving needs and desires.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

· Enhance the member experience throuhg food and help our teammates grow; teach and train our team to sharpen and expand their culinary skills, techniques, and understanding of the menu.

· Create dishes to Interlachen's culinary standards; contribute innovative ideas to improve and diversify our offerings while working with seasonal ingredients and concepts.

· Work collaboratively with the team, both HOH and FOH.

· Lead by example; hone your current skills while learning new techniques.

· Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

· Take pride in our food, treating every dish that goes out as your own.

· Support your team members and foster a healthy, positive culture.

Ideal Qualifications and Attributes:

Education and Experience:

· Culinary degree or equivalent experience

· 3 years of leadership experience

· Experience in a high-volume restaurant

· Proficient knife handling, food safety & sanitation knowledge
