Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of bills and vendor invoices.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
- Respond to vendors regarding invoices or payments in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ad-Hoc Projects/Reports: Work on ad-hoc projects, reports, and research needed for vendors and management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (Great Plains Dynamics 2018) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, including pivot tables and Word).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client/team interaction.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to pass a background check.
