About the Role:

In the role of Senior Accountant, you'll collaborate closely with the Director of Finance to oversee the operational and strategic financial functions of the business. Your responsibilities will span across accounting, finance, and HR, encompassing tasks such as inputting accounts payable invoices, handling payroll processing, and compiling quarterly investor reports.

In this position, you will:

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivables, payroll, and month-end close
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
• Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles
• Collaborate with department leads to prepare and manage financial forecasts and annual budgets
• Work with external tax accountants to file annual corporate tax returns; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
• Manages onboarding/off boarding and other HR-related duties for all employees and international team mates 
• Manage KPIs to report to leadership on a regular cadence
• Assist in quarterly Board meeting preparation and investor reporting

Skills and Experience Required:

• Highly proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to GAAP
• Expertise in GAAP accounting and FP&A; familiarity working collaboratively with the HR department
• Experience working at a startup – understanding the pace, owning a broad scope of responsibilities, and passionate about improving and streamlining processes
• Knowledge of SaaS-based company ideals is a plus
• Experience with system implementations and process improvements is a plus

The compensation range is estimated between $65,000 and $75,000. Actual compensation may vary based on a variety of circumstances.
