Local Industrial Company Looking for an Accountant to Assist with Driving Financial Excellence for a Rapidly Scaling Business!

At Charlotte Compressor, we provide peace of mind to manufacturing and other industrial industries by supplying & maintaining production critical equipment. We know that manufacturing is critical to a strong American economy and it is our responsibility to help keep the plants running. We sell & service the industrial compressed air systems that our customers rely on as the life-blood to their operation. Without compressed air, the entire plant/facility is shut down or at reduced capacity. Finance is the backbone of our operations, and we understand the importance of meticulous accounting in sustaining our growth. SO WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

As our Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Analyzing financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Assisting with audits and regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Providing support to the finance team and senior management as needed, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

THINGS YOU HAVE DONE IN THE PAST

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and technology, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing accounting challenges.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
