Position Overview:

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance department, assisting in the management of financial operations, reporting, and compliance. You will work closely with the Controller and finance team to ensure accurate financial records, analyze financial data, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Cycle Accounting (Experience preferred)
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes.
• Stay current with accounting regulations and best practices.
• Contribute to special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is a plus.
• Three (3) years related experience and/or training.
• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant.
• Prior experience with FULL CYCLE accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
