Impulse is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Santa Barbara, CA

We are looking for an energetic professional for our sales development role who is ready to jump in and help our company grow. You'll need strong persuasion skills to convert potential customer prospects into qualified leads. We need someone who knows how to find prospects on social media and start building relationships with them. Our ideal candidate has prior experience in customer service or sales, is a great dealmaker, and enjoys talking to people on the phone and in person. $60,000 yearly OTE

Responsibilities:
  • Keep an eye on what the competition is doing, and come up with a strategy to market to potential customers
  • Prospect leads by doing a variety of actions, such as calling, texting, or emailing individuals, and chatting with them at events
  • Attend online and in-person meetings, trainings, trade shows, and sales events
  • Work with sales management to reach goals and improve the sales process
  • Go to in-person and online trainings, meetings, and sales events
  • Develop strategies for using social media like LinkedIn to generate leads
  • Collaborate with sales management in order to achieve objectives and enhance performance
  • Contact prospects by phone calls, email, LinkedIn, in-person meetings, and other methods to set meetings with our sales team
  • Manage a pipeline in Salesforce
Qualifications:
  • You love talking and meeting with prospects, presenting to them, closing the deal, and asking for referrals
  • Working knowledge of the sales process and CRM software is preferred
  • Details and meeting goals motivate you to provide exceptional customer service to your prospects, clients, and team
  • Successful experience providing customer service preferred
  • High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
