Impact Solutions is Hiring an Environmental Specialist (Corporate) Near Houston, TX

About the Company:

What You Will Be Doing:

This role will be a corporate environmental specialist, particularly focused on TitleV permitting and regulations. This role will support 3 facilities in Texas, two in Houston and another in the Beaumont area. This role is open because the person who was in this role took a different position to move closer to family in the Northeast US. This role does not have any direct reports, but will work with, and receive support from, an established environmental compliance team.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering; the company will consider other degrees with relevant experience
  • 5 years of environmental permitting and compliance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have previous experience with TitleV regulations and permitting; experience with RCRA, SWPP, TSCA, etc a big plus
  • Previous EHS auditing experience is a big plus
  • Willingness to travel ~10% of the time, mostly day travel
