Role: Environmental Emissions Specialist

Position Description:

  • Preparing and reviewing emission calculations for Oil and Gas production facilities.
  • Preparing complex air permit applications for oil and gas facilities in Texas and North Dakota (TCEQ Permits by Rule and Non-Rule Standard permits, NDEQ Registrations)
  • Conducting compliance assessments for upstream oil and gas sites to evaluate source applicability to state and federal regulations including NSPS OOOO, OOOOa, OOOOb, JJJJ and NESHAP ZZZZ. Develop compliance plans for sources subject to the above regulations.
  • Gather and analyze datasets, for the purposes of emissions monitoring and emission calculations.
  • Collect and support submittal of information for regulatory permits, authorizations, and reports, in response to agency inquiries.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or similar degree
  • 5 years of experience in Air and GHG environmental compliance/permitting or regulatory compliance in an oil and gas and/or petrochemical industry
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Texas Air Permitting experience preferred.
  • Understanding of EPA and State of TX air regulations, guidelines and policies, additional state air regulations

Position Details:

Pay Rate: $50-75/hr.

Hours: 5 days on / 2 days off (8 hr days)
