Opportunity

We are looking for a Key Account Manager directly responsible for sales activities within designated key accounts as well as providing support within specified Strategic Accounts and Distributors. This position develops and implements agreed upon plans, which will meet both personal and company goals of expanding customer base. This position provides support with sales, account management, data entry, campaigns, and sales analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Build sales through prospecting for new clients and developing existing designated customer relationships. Assist Account Executives in cultivating existing business.
  • Provide support to partner distributor accounts via sales education, meetings and trade shows. Responsible for sales growth via distributors with new and existing accounts.
  • Provide prospect/customer with quotations and insures there is a full understanding of the parameters regarding such programs.
  • Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, direct mail, email and networking. Maintain database of account information, contacts, display status as well as competitive landscape.
  • Research trends and developments of primary industry(s) through use of related publications, internet and training sessions to maintain and grow current knowledge base.
  • Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high level of client satisfaction. Receives and resolves customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all internal support departments to include sales, design, project management, and engineering.

Skills

  • Proven experience in other sales/customer service role
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and other relevant computer applications
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • Willingness to travel to customer visits, trade shows, and conferences as needed

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years relevant professional experience
