ImageNet Consulting is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near St. Louis, MO

ImageNet is growing in St. Louis and we are looking for a Business Development Representative to join the team. Are you looking to grow you career in sales and thrive on booking appointments and closing deals. If so, this Business Development Representative role is for you!

We are offering a $40k-45k base plus commission, cell phone allowance, and amazing benefits.

Will be required to be in onside during training, but after training, we offer a rotational hybrid setting with 3 days in office and 2 days remote!

Position Summary:

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for developing and executing new business to business relationships and providing consulting and sales services on an ongoing basis to prospective. This Business Development Representative will focus on selling our Electronic Content and Business Process Management, Managed IT Services, and Copier/Printer solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Attends initial and ongoing training on Company products, the Company business and effective sales techniques; retains and applies skills and knowledge learned in training sessions.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers/clients, and proactively develops new customer relationships through several avenues including cold calling, telemarketing, networking events, referrals, and several organized lists.
  • Evaluates customers’ business scenarios, qualifies customers’ needs and develops solutions utilizing all core competencies of the Company including hardware, software, and services.
  • Works closely with clients during all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service to both clients and potential clients; develops and maintains relationships with multiple positions within the organization.
  • Responsible for meeting objectively set sales goals determined by Sales Manager and Branch Manager.
  • Maintains all data regarding sales calls, forecasts business and customer files in the Company provided CRM according to standards set by the Company.
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate personal and corporate goals.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms, prepares sales contracts for orders obtained and coordinates all follow-up.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the Company’s production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Maintains a personal calendar and keeps it updated daily.
  • Maintains a neat, always groomed businesslike appearance.
  • Maintains valid driver’s license and state minimum auto insurance.
  • Regular, physical attendance on a predictable basis is essential to the performance of this job.
  • Must be polished, personable, highly organized, punctual, and capable of effective, efficient multi-tasking. Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail. Works with integrity and ethically.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
  • Committed to personal professional growth and development.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and confident with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of Outside Sales Experience
  • Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4 years prior business to business experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Business Transformation, Managed Services, and Copier/Printer Industry experience
