IKON Windows and Doors is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Melbourne, FL

OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE (OSR)
The Outside Sales Representative (OSR) is the front line and face of IKON Windows and Doors. The main role of the OSR is to strategically and dynamically build/connect/network with each customer, to bring them from a first-time buyer to a lifelong customer. The OSR qualifies every potential bid opportunity, and leverages all available resources to secure contract sales. The OSR works in unity with operations to help maintain the highest level of clarity and quality through the lifecycle of the project, and to ensure that IKON exceeds the customer expectations.

OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE OBJECTIVES :
● All OSRs need to have a “self-propelled” mentality, meaning that they treat their leads, estimating processes, product knowledge, workflows, and overall growth with passion, excellence, and quality.
● Timing is critical! The OSR sets the tone for the entire sales process. Appointments that are set either by the office or the OSR must be kept unless agreed upon with the client. The OSR must be early or on time to book appointments. When a lead or a client phone call is issued, the OSR must respond within 24 hours (1 business day) unless otherwise specified.
● Provide estimates to clients on time based on the projected scope of work. Ideally, the estimate needs to be provided to the client within 24 hours. If a project requires special pricing requests for engineered drawings, alert the clients to the length of the estimating process.
● When the OSR engages in client relations they must be dressed in professional attire, including an IKON company polo shirt (provided by

IKON) and slacks with a clean vehicle (inside and out) to represent themselves and IKON professionally. It is preferred if you wear slacks instead of shorts. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will also be provided by IKON.
● OSRs are always ready! A current supply of sales tools including business cards, samples, brochures, folders, and a camera need to be readily available to do a thorough job and make a great presentation.
● Bring clarity to the client by describing the full scope of work completely and accurately. Be as specific as possible with details such as manufacturer, product type, glass types, color selections, product variables, etc.
● Communicate frequently with clients through prescribed workflows in CRM and maintain job status updates to keep them current through the sales process.
● OSRs will work at least one (1) trade show per year to grow IKON’s pipeline of vendor relationships and sales leads.

REQUIREMENTS:
● Minimum of 2 Years Selling experience.
● Valid Driver’s License
● Possess and cultivate personal character, communication, commitment
to quality, and overall customer service.
● Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication styles to
various cultures and personality types.
● Team player who seeks unity.
● Critical thinker; use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and
weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to solve
problems.
● Self-motivated and always looking to grow.
● Knowledge of all construction industry standards and codes is a plus.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and
PowerPoint).

● Proficiency in Apple Office Suite (MAC mail, Pages, Numbers, Keynote).
● Flexible with company changes and processes
● Valid drivers license
● A quick learner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
● Two-year business degree (suggested)
● Two (2) plus years of sales experience
● Proven sales history with references
● Knowledge of construction sitesis preferred
● Knowledge of windows and doors is preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
● Must be able to navigate a job site in different types of weather and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to acquire accurate measurements
● Ability to travel to and from appointments.

● Ability to lift and carry 15-30 pounds.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
● Commission Based on experience (Six Figure Potential)
