IKON Windows and Doors is Hiring a Purchasing Manager Near Satellite Beach, FL
Description
- Source and order materials for projects, including doors, windows, hardware, and other stock items
- Qualify new contracts and ensure quality control throughout the ordering process
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to determine material requirements and deadlines
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to support company objectives
- Process purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment
- Resolve any issues or grievances with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
- Maintain detailed records in our CRM system
- Manage inventory and track stock commodity items
- Assist with vendor deliveries and service requests as needed
- At least five years of purchasing experience
- Knowledge of the Windows and Doors Industry
- Familiarity with vendor quoting and ordering systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and supervisory experience
Salary
$20 - $25 per hour
