IKON Windows and Doors is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Satellite Beach, FL

IKON is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to generate revenue, convert leads, and find prospects for networking and sales opportunities.

Description

OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE (“OSR”)
The Outside Sales Representative (“OSR”) is the primary point of contact for IKON Windows and Doors and plays a crucial role in building and maintaining customer relationships. The main objective of the OSR is to generate revenue by qualifying potential bid opportunities and securing contract sales through effective networking and leveraging available resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate Revenue:
  • Utilize effective networking strategies to identify and convert leads into sales.
  • Approach each customer interaction with a self-employed mentality, displaying passion, excellence, and quality in all aspects of the sales process.
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates to clients based on the projected scope of work.
  • Clearly and accurately communicate the full scope of work to clients, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Maintain frequent communication with clients, utilizing prescribed workflows in CRM and providing regular job status updates throughout the sales process.
  • Continuously seek prospects for additional networking or sales opportunities.
  • Attend necessary Trade Shows and weekly sales meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Possess and cultivate personal character, communication skills, and a commitment to quality customer service.
  • Adapt communication styles to engage with various cultures and personality types effectively.
  • Foster a team player mentality, seeking unity and collaboration within the organization.
  • Act as a critical thinker, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths, weaknesses, and alternative solutions to problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid FL Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to different cultures and personality types.
  • Strong self-motivation and a desire for personal growth.
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards and codes related to specific fields.
  • Proficiency in Apple Office Suite (MAC mail, Pages, Numbers, Google).
  • Flexibility in adapting to company changes and processes.
  • Knowledge of IKON Windows and Doors product lines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to travel to and from appointments.
  • Comfort navigating job sites in different weather conditions and performing physical tasks such as bending, climbing, stretching, reaching, and leaning to acquire accurate measurements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Two (2) year business degree (preferred).
  • Two (2) plus years of general sales experience.
  • Proven sales history in the fenestration industry with references (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of construction concepts, tools, timelines, and job sites.
  • Familiarity with windows and doors (preferred).

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
  • This position is commission-based only.
TRAINING:
  • The OSR will receive training to support in their success at IKON.
