Our vision is to be the trusted hub of the private markets, allowing investors to authenticate once across all of their private equity investments. We deliver efficiently, accurately and on time through our web platform which we develop in-house.

We operate as #OneGlobalThread in line with our values: We challenge the norm, we change the way we think and work, by connecting systems and people, while committing to our vision and each other. We are now looking to recruit an experienced Chief Revenue Officer to join our global team.

Position Overview:

As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will drive revenue growth personally and through active leadership of the commercial function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead all revenue-generating activities, including direct and channel sales, client relationship management and marketing. Your high-energy leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth trajectory as the trusted hub of the private markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Role Modelling: Lead by example, utilizing your extensive network to grow revenue and continually improve our pitch process.
  • Revenue Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive revenue strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and growth targets within the private markets. Identify market opportunities, assess competitive dynamics, and formulate strategies to capitalize on emerging trends.
  • Sales Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, setting clear revenue targets, and driving performance excellence. Implement sales best practices, processes, and performance metrics to optimize sales effectiveness and drive revenue growth.
  • Business Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels within the financial private markets ecosystem. Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, asset managers, institutional investors, and wealth managers, to expand market reach and drive revenue growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage the CRM team to foster strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, understanding their unique needs, challenges, and objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor, proactively addressing client concerns, and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services.
  • Market Analysis and Insights: Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and industry dynamics within the financial private markets landscape. Leverage market insights and data analytics to identify growth opportunities, inform strategic decisions, and drive product innovation.
  • Product and Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine product offerings, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans tailored to the needs of financial private markets clients. Ensure alignment between product features, value proposition, and revenue objectives.
  • Financial Management: Work closely with finance and executive leadership to develop revenue forecasts, budgets, and financial models. Monitor revenue performance, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets and maximize growth.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Provide inspirational leadership, mentorship, and coaching to the commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Collaborate effectively with other functional leaders to drive cross-functional alignment and support company-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in revenue leadership roles within the private markets
  • Strong sales acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed targets in a competitive market environment.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for driving innovation, challenging the status quo, and leading change initiatives.
