Job Description

Position: JR Project Manager

Location: Norcross, GA - Currently remote

Schedule: Full time

IBEX is looking for a motivated individual with leadership skills to join a fast-paced, government contracting, and professional services team as a Junior Project Manager. In this role, you will report to the senior project managers to ensure the completion of company projects. You may be assigned to coordinate administrative tasks, inventory resources, and send staff deadline reminders. We are looking for a candidate who can be trusted to effectively coordinate the efforts of a project team with limited supervision and make sure the project is completed on time and within budget. The Junior Project Manager also obtains resources, reviews project quality, and creates relevant reports. You will be instrumental in the successful management of multiple Federal projects at varying levels of completion. The position will be part of the end-to-end workflow from the proposal process, resourcing, project initiation, planning, execution, and management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have the ability to work in the U.S.
  • Must hold a valid Driver's License
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, or related field. General business knowledge or equivalent 1-3 years equivalent work and/or Military experience.
  • Ability to implement Project Management best practices across varying levels of complex projects
  • Experience managing project scope, schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, and costs
  • Experience providing end-to-end client support to customers
  • Ability to manage contract staff to ensure successful support and project deliverables
  • Ability to prioritize work products, meet quality objectives, and stick to project deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Technical Skills: Outlook, MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to develop standards and report research results
  • Ability to conduct work concisely and thoroughly
  • Strong organizational skills including documentation, tracking, and change control
  • Comfortable with technology and learning new software platforms
  • Comfortable and capable of handling confidential and secure company information
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
  • Experience with managing teams and client deliverables
  • Access to reliable means of transportation and ability to travel to client sites

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Secret level clearance or higher
  • Former Government Employee, Veteran and/or Experience working at a Government Contracting Company.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing Federal contracts and providing support to government clients
  • 3-5 years of proven Program and Federal Government proposal management and writing experience
  • Experience in proposal types (IDIQ, BPA, Task Order, Contract) and experience responding to both RFPs and RFIs
  • Able to work at a fast pace and follow up on action items, keep the project mission focused
  • Able to work some nights and weekends to meet deadlines
  • Detailed Oriented including documentation and reporting
  • Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites ? PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Abie to work autonomously as well as with a team
  • Able to work and coordinate cross functionally
  • Effective and efficient time management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills including documentation, tracking, and change control
  • Knowledge of Category Management
  • Knowledge of FAR

Responsibilities:

  • Act as an alternative Point of Contact for Government Clients, Corporate Staff, and Senior Project Staff
  • Assists with contract communication between all project stakeholders
  • Ensure that projects fulfill budget and quality standards
  • Provide support across all business functions including, project and client support, proposal support, project staffing, and business requirements
  • Assess project requirements and direct resources to provide support and contract deliverables
  • Provide and manage support based on project scope, business objectives, client expectations, and government requirements
  • Plan and maintain all project deliverables and support
  • Ensure all deliverables meet project schedule, scope, and budget
  • Assist with coordinating client support with prime contractors and sub-contractors
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to drive discussion on contract support and proposal efforts
  • Assist with writing, re-purposing, and editing of proposal sections
  • Prepare drafts and final versions; write proposal sections as assigned
  • Coordinate meetings with teaming partners, to convey bid solution and determine data call
  • requirements, including required forms and supporting documentation
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and Senior Management, to develop, finalize and track proposals
  • Assist in creating, editing, and managing proposal templates to be used in various pursuits
  • Task Order Management of IDIQ Contracts
  • Gather project information: schedules, data requests, assignments, tasks, and project meetings
  • Work with project team to understand and assist with tracking all work, task, and project assignments.
  • Work with Senior Project Manager to assist in developing a comprehensive workflow process for project.
  • Serve as a resource to educate and assist with implementing project management processes, making improvement/changed and encourage efficiently.
  • Monitor and modify project schedule as assigned. Maintain document control, database management, track project activities and team communication.
  • Develop and publish communications to project stakeholders including project status and reports
  • Develop options and recommendations to drive critical decisions
  • Must be able to travel to government sites periodically throughout the year, ability to Travel 10%
  • Remote and/or Face to Face Meetings with Government & Contract Personnel
  • Performs other duties as requested

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, and requires you to align with IBEX's core business hours of 9 am and 5 pm EST
