We are currently seeking a professional to fill a position as a Project Manager in our Metal Panel division that can help lead construction projects in nearly every sector. Candidate must be capable of assisting the Senior Project Managers with running multiple projects simultaneously. This person must be a problem-solver, have exceptional communication skills, organizational skills, a willingness to adapt and learn, knowledge of exterior façade construction, and has worked with processes from preconstruction to closeout.
PM reports to Sr. PM and above. The PM is a key contributor to the success of delivering an on-time and on budget project. We offer competitive wages, paid on a Bi-weekly schedule, and great benefits. Below is a list of what we would expect from you:
Main Responsibilities:
• PM must support Sr. Project Managers throughout the duration of the project
• Learn and study Project Management documents and practices to better assist the team.
• You will handle project management from acquisition of contract through close-out (such as RFI's, submittals, change orders, punch lists and close-out docs).
• Procure project material and ensure quality, delivery, etc.
• Utilize and ensure accuracy of project data in Procore
• Manage process of obtaining permits, license, and project mobilization
• Coordinate tasks with APM and PE (i.e., change orders, schedule updates, PO’s, invoicing, equipment rental)
• Manage and report financials of project through Procore budget
• Select, coordinate, and manage contractors needed for project
• Responsible for quality control and ensuring compliance on every level
• Manage project to be on time, on budget, and meets quality standards.
• Actively foresee any obstacles that will effect the above and problem solve accordingly.
Requirements
Role Qualifications:
• 3 years experience in a Construction Project Management or related role
• Knowledge of and previous execution of submittal processes
• Basic knowledge of exterior panel systems
• Experience managing product and labor procurement for construction projects
• Ability to negotiate with vendors and maintain strong partnerships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and react accordingly current information
• Take-off and cost estimating skills specific to metal wall panels will be beneficial for the top candidates.
• Demonstrates exceptional communication skills with customers, suppliers, architects, management & site personnel, etc.
• Must have the ability to self-educate and possess a desire for growth
• Be a flexible and adaptable team player.
• Excellent reading and interpretation of drawings and specs
• Ability to lead through and respond well to pressure
Must have the following:
• Strong mathematic skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, architectural drawings, shop drawings and all schedules as to understand architectural intent.
• Prefer experience with utilizing project management software, spreadsheets and estimating software, Microsoft office.
