- Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.
- Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.
- Consults with customers, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- To respond to RFQ’s in a timely manner
- To communicate with Sales, Engineering and Material manager to gather information needed to quote jobs.
- Prepare documents needed for Quote Review
- Retrieve outside sourcing quotes as needed for Quote Review
- Schedule Quote Review with senior management and follow up as needed.
- Complete Quote Entry and communication of final quote to customer prior to deadline
- To maintain database of quotes
- To communicate new jobs/customers to company keeping all informed
- Notice differences between estimated cost and actual cost.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
