Estimator

Builders Direct Depot is looking for a motivated, self-driven and reliable person to join our estimation team as an Estimator. He or she will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the bidding process works effectively and efficiently. The Estimator’s roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Enter new bid invitations in the Bid List & update the schedule as needed
• Download and print plans and specifications for bids we are going to prepare
• Create and organize electronic folders on Drive
• Review specifications to establish any special standards of the project and report findings to the Project Manager
• Distributes all important updates, addendums & revisions to the Head Estimator during the bid process
• Works closely with Estimators to ensure the specifications, addendums when applicable, are accounted for in the final bid
• Maintain up to date bid documents and counts for the department

Required Experience:

• Computer proficiency with MS Office and/or Google Business Suite required
• Detail-oriented and very organized
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Attention to detail and a strong desire to work in a team environment as well as individually
• Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must be well-organized and possess strong time management skills
• Proactive issue resolution & problem-solving skills

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
