House of Floors of Tampa, Inc is Hiring a Key Account Manager Near Tampa, FL

House of Floors of Tampa is seeking an energetic and high-performing outside sales Key Account Manager to join our sales team servicing the Multi-Family Housing Industry in Tampa market.

The Key Account Manager role involves traveling within an established territory to maintain existing customer relationships and effectively sell flooring products and installation services to prospects in the Multi-Family housing Industry.

House of Floors is Florida's premier floor covering provider. We have been servicing the Multi-Family Housing Industry since 1989 and have the highest degree of customer service and quality.

Qualifications:

  • 1 years of sales experience.
  • Clean driving record, current valid driver's license, active auto insurance ,your own reliable transportation and ability to travel daily in your vehicle within your assigned territory.
  • Experience in the multi-family or construction flooring industry. (Not required)
  • Professional verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Understanding consumer behaviors, industry trends and extensive product flooring knowledge.
  • Highly energetic, self-motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic with a growth mindset
  • Strong time management skills, with an excellent ability to prioritize, organize, follow up and follow through.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  • Must represent the company with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Effectively manage a consistent pipeline of new business through creative prospecting.
  • Participate in industry tradeshows. May include occasional out of town overnight travel.
  • Proactively communicate with customers to fulfill commitments and exceed service expectations.
  • Network and involvement through professional multi-family organizations such as Bay Area Apartment Association and Florida Apartment Association. May include after-hour events.
  • Strive to build and maintain long term business relationships with community managers, maintenance managers, regional directors.
  • Visit clients regularly to ensure superior service.
  • Performing site walkthroughs to ensure quality and service expectations are met.
  • Developing new business and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Promptly addressing customers concerns, complaints and problems.
  • Find new business opportunities.
  • Educate and demonstrate flooring products and services to existing and potential new customers, assisting them in selecting the best flooring options that fits their needs.
  • Measure floor plans ,generate seaming diagrams and proposals/pricing for all customers.
  • Develop vendor and supplier relationships.
  • Conducting calls and face-to face-meetings with customers daily, networking to build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
