The Buttery ATL is in search of an Executive Sous Chef who has an idyllic and steadfast passion for food, the history of food, and the power of food. Someone who is enamored by the vibrance of radicchio in the fall and the simplicity of dressed tomatoes in the peak of summer. The Buttery’s menus are inspired by seasonality and the great culinary destinations of the world from Provence to the Sonoma Valley to New Orleans. At The Buttery, we celebrate all food, both local and global, from morels to rosemary.
Our offerings are thoughtful, charming, and delicious. The Buttery was established for Atlantans to create cherished memories around convivial dinner tables overflowing with gougeres, lobster bisque, hen of the woods mushrooms, and mustard-coated lamb roast or breakfast spreads filled with viennoiserie stacked high accompanied with sheep’s milk yogurt and classic quiches. The Buttery is a one-stop shop for hosts looking to provide memorable moments with their loved ones or someone who wants a cozy evening with the comforting aromas of our chicken pot pie to fill their kitchen. The Executive Sous Chef is a highly skilled position which plays an important role in maintaining positive experiences for our team and our guests. As an Executive Sous Chef, you will lead the kitchen through successful services upholding excellence in every aspect of the guest experience. You will work in a supervisory role, coordinating closely with the BOH leadership team to support the vision of the business while overseeing both food and staff. You will maintain a thriving and profitable organization of trained and passionate people celebrating hospitality and creativity while ensuring the consistency of carefully tailored recipes and the deliciousness of each dish our guests receive.
