Home Care Placement LLC (SoCal Placement) is Hiring a Talent Support Specialist Near San Diego, CA

Position Summary

We are seeking a Talent Support Specialist to join our team. As the Talent Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training of new caregivers for the agency. Additionally, the Caregiver Support Specialist will ensure that our policies and procedures are being adhered to and implements the appropriate corrective action when necessary. In this role you will maintain employee files and ensure information is correct. You will also act as the liaison for the caregivers with the agency and evaluate them on a periodic basis.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service or office experience
  • Basic computer knowledge, data entry, word processing
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn HR Policies, caregiving skills
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and work in a fast-paced, team environment

Base Pay is $26.00 - $28.00 / hour

The role is Monday - Friday in our office in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Continually recruit and hire new employees consistent with Agency goals, to maintain a pool of eligible HCAs.
  • Create and post employment advertisements, review applications, verify work and personal references, conduct interviews, and in-person orientation of eligible HCAs.
  • Ensure that all State and agency requirements regarding certifications are met by each HCA.
  • Create and maintain personnel records, and ensure personnel information is up-to-date in personnel record.
  • Act as the liaison for the HCAs with the agency and evaluate them on a periodic basis.
  • Contact HCAs placed on assignment each month to inquire about safety concerns and complete and file the appropriate forms.
  • Ensure that Organization policies and procedures are being adhered to by all HCAs and implement the appropriate corrective action when necessary.
  • Document events in the Organization's Management System.
  • Work in conjunction with the Administrator and administrative support staff to make sure operations in the agency run smoothly.
  • Report suspected, observed, knowledge of, reported to, incidents that reasonably appear to be abuse or neglect involving an elder or dependent adult.
  • Basic cross-training in other roles of the business, so you can assist as needed and directed by the Administrator.
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
