What You'll Be Doing as the Accounts Payable / Accountant:
- Manage accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely payments, reconciliations, and resolution of accounting queries.
- Compile and organize accounting documents for audits.
- Analyze financial status and progress, presenting insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Establish and maintain accounts payable systems, driving process improvements and efficiency.
- Lead improvements in supplier setup procedures.
- Contribute to the management of 1099 reporting and sales and use tax compliance.
About You as the Accounts Payable / Accountant:
- Two or more years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate or related industries.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel tools
- Functional understanding of general ledger principles.
- Possess strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
