Serves as a member of, not only the Data Specialist team, but the Human Resources team by providing accurate and timely information to coworkers, employees and managers. Consistent, great customer service is essential. Responsible for entering and processing all new hire paperwork, active employee status changes and terminated employee paperwork. Consistently audits and maintains the integrity and consistency of employee information that is entered in the HRIS system. Ensures that all types of paperwork is completed appropriately and includes all applicable components. Reviews new and renewal professional licenses and certifications for expiration dates and enters those dates in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Works various reports to maintain the integrity of and the employee history in the HRIS system. Reviews and enters all employee and director annual evaluation scores.
Education required: High School/GED completion
Education preferred: Bachelor’s Degree preferred from an accredited university or college, preferably in Human Resources or Business Management
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years administrative support experience, preferably in Human Resources, Customer Service or Data Entry positions. Comparable combinations of education and experience considereds.
Additional Skills/Abilities: Must possess great customer service and auditing skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with employees and managers regarding sensitive and often complicated issues. Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and E-mail. Must possess the ability to become proficient in various systems and software. Must be able to set priorities, coordinate and organize multiple tasks and maintain control of work load. Must be able to work within strict deadlines. Must be proficient in routine mathematical computations and analyses. Must be able to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
