His vision was that TherapySouth would be a therapist-owned practice, specializing in "hands-on care, close to a patient's home or work". The Patient Service Assistant is responsible for assisting with all day-to-day operational and administrative aspects of the clinic.

Essential Functions:

1. Demonstrate outstanding customer service.

2. Answer the phones.

3. Greet patients as they come in the door.

4. Schedule new and returning patients.

5. Scan necessary documentation into patient’s electronic account.

6. Faxing and fax management

7. Collect OTC payments in accordance with Patient Payment Guidelines.

8. Contact referrals the same day as received and attempt to schedule appointment within 24 hours.

9. Maintain up-to-date referral log.

10. Medical record management

11. HIPAA

12. Demonstrate good basic computer skills.

13. Comply with all company policies and procedures as well as State and Federal regulations.
