Overview

Hepburn and Sons is seeking a Program Manager to support the ONR Code 33 effort that obtains professional technical, engineering, analytical and programmatic support for basic research, applied research, and advanced technology development programs associated with surface, including amphibious, undersea, and ground naval platforms, naval materials and undersea weapons.

This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and coordinate conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, meetings, technical reviews, etc. to include physically presenting displays and assisting with display transportation, setup and staffing of event booths as directed or required by ONR Code 33 Management or Program Officer personnel
• Support technical management of programs including acquisition plan development, representation of the government project manager in his/her absence where required, and assessment of performance in terms of technical objectives, costs and schedule
• Support the management and execution of S&T innovation programs and pilots, including interfacing with government agencies, academia, non-profits, industry, and public and private investment groups.
• Provide graphics, reproduction services in accordance with Section H and appropriate nearby conference and business facilities
• Prepare program status reports and after-action reports following major program reviews or key events, as required

Qualifications

• Secret level security clearance or the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
• A Master’s degree from an accredited university in a technical or business field and five (5) years of experience in a technical field* or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a technical or business field* and seven (7) years of experience in a technical field
• Experience in technical program management of programs
