Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
- Assist servers with food service as needed
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Communicate effectively with guests and staff to address any concerns or special requests
- Operate POS system (Toast) to process payments accurately

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Strong phone etiquette and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
