Our client, an international chemical manufacturer, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of CapEx Project Manager. This is a newly created position due to business expansion. This role is responsible for managing projects for the engineering department. Projects will include CapEx, line design, modernization and overall safety/productivity of the facility. This is a hybrid role with 3 days each week in office, two days working remotely; the schedule is M-F 8a - 4p.

Essential Job Functions

• Coordinates and oversees all aspects of project related engineering standards, capital planning, project development and construction activities for one facility mainly with some projects in locations within 1 hour's drive
• Project management to ensure they meet all demands of on budget, established deadlines and fully executed plans, while controlling cost variance, quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, vendor management, and return on investment.
• Create, present and manage accurate budgets including 1, 3 and 5 year projections.
• Collaborate with key departments within the facility such as maintenance, production, safety, logistics, etc.
• Keep a continuous improvement mindset in forefront of all work from cradle to grave.

Required Education and Experience

• BS degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or Business Management related with related experience
• 7-10 years of demonstrated CapEx project management experience managing multi-year projects and multi-million dollar budgets and multiple projects at once
• Expertise in building construction project management (HVAC, Process Controls)
• Software experience advanced Project Management Tools
• Must be able to travel locally to nearby manufacturing facilities on a fairly regular basis. These locations are within approximately one hour drive and will not require an overnight stay

Preferred Education and Experience

• Master’s degree
• Strong preference for PMP certification
• Strong preference for Chemical manufacturing experience
• SAP experience

Salary and Benefits

• Salary range $110,000 - $120,000 plus up to 6% bonus potential
