Job Summary
The Project Controls Manager of Process & Procedure / Technology is a corporate resource that will work with all offices and project teams. They will drive the development, standardization, continuous improvement, and training of all Operations-based process & procedure, technology, and dashboards / data collection & analysis. For this position, 5 years of applicable experience is preferred, and the individual should be a self-starter who has a natural curiosity and the desire to utilize technology to improve processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Implement Project Controls tools and methodology.
- Super user / internal and external training & support for project management software.
- Work with provider to drive continuous improvement of project management system.
- System maintenance of project management software – role securities / custom workflows / custom forms / reports.
- Drive internal and external continuous improvement of document management software.
- Operations IT management - hardware / software.
- Set strategic path / drive vision and growth of AMHigley Operations technology.
- Maintenance of custom apps and software.
- Lead and drive continuous improvement of Operations onboarding training.
- Drive development and standardization of corporate Operations process & procedures.
- Review how well project teams are following standard process & procedures and develop and implement improvement plans.
- Develop reports and dashboards to automate the collection of Operations Data.
- Develop Operations and project audit tools.
- Work with personnel in all roles and at all levels to understand company reporting needs.
Required Skills and Abilities:- Collaborate with staff from all internal departments.
- Technical aptitude.
- Self-starter.
- Willingness and desire to learn new software.
- Ability to travel to all regional offices and project sites.
- In-Depth PowerBI experience preferred.
- Ability to learn new software.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop and present technical trainings.
- Develop interpersonal relationships.
- Mentor younger staff.
Education and Qualifications:- The candidate should possess a 4-year college degree in civil engineering, construction management, construction technology, or a closely related field.
- The candidate must have 5 years of construction experience.
