Our local client is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their growing Learning and Development team for their in-house educational institute. This is an exciting brand-new role within their distribution organization.
Job summary:
This position will primarily create interactive and engaging in-person and online learning modules based on Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge and input. Course development will include the use of videos, hands-on exercises, exams, etc. Hard copy instruction manuals and pamphlets will also be designed and developed. Instructors will then teach developed the curriculum to customers and in-house technical personnel. This position will mostly work onsite in Greater Lexington, KY with some flexibility offered of 1 day working from home every 1-2 weeks with approval based on employee and business needs. The typical schedule will be Monday – Friday 8:00a – 5:00p.
