HawkEye 360 is seeking a Manager of Sales Operations. The Manager of Sales Operations will help streamline communication cross functional teams by prioritizing operations, engineering, product, and legal tasks necessary to meet HawkEye 360’s strategic sales objectives. Reporting to the VP, Solutions, the Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing HawkEye 360’s sales process and orchestrating the process for all HawkEye 360 sales opportunities. An ideal candidate would have a mix of technical, operational, and programmatic experiences to reduce execution risk and capture profitable opportunities.

Position is based in Herndon, Virginia, although exceptionally qualified remote candidates in USA will be considered. 

As the Sales Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• Maintain, enhance, and lead the sales processes and associated business rhythms to drive successful sales pipeline lifecycle management and health
• Collaborate with HawkEye cross-functional team to evaluate sales opportunities, conduct technical feasibility and profitability assessment, and make go/no-go recommendations to the VP, Solutions
• Identify and apply sales best practices across the sales organization to drive revenue and backlog success using approaches like Shipley
• Develop and prepare reports on the health of the sales pipeline and resolve identified issues.
• Evaluate and influence product and technical roadmaps aligned with sales opportunities and make priority recommendations to cross-functional VPs
• Orchestrate and lead RFP/RFI responses for large, complex projects/programs
• Support the VP, Solutions in executing HawkEye 360’s strategic growth objectives
• Facilitate discussions with the business development team to evaluate and analyze a business strategy for business growth
• Collaborate with the Program Management team to identify new requirements for program growth aligned with sales opportunities
• Oversee HawkEye Opportunity Review board and pre-sale planning process

Your skills and qualifications:
Essential Education and experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in sales, sales operations, or program management
• Deep knowledge of and experience with managing a sales operations system, including Salesforce
• 2-3 years of experience in USG procurement process
• Passion for achieving customer success through learning and exploring new ways to solve problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable:​​​​​​

• Familiarity with Salesforce. 
• Sales and operations experience with companies responsible for tasking, processing, and disseminating overhead RF data 
• Ability to generate reports using standard office applications
• Active TS/SCI security clearance is preferred
