DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of office related tasks in an accurate manner.
Manages multiple tasks with many interruptions.
Utilizes and inputs information in a variety of Filemaker databases.
Interacts with students, parents and others in a professional manner.
Maintains and uses information in databases and maintains accurate files and records.
Handles confidential documents in a professional manner.
Possesses physical dexterity to perform assigned duties.
Performs related work as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a high school diploma or GED.
At least three years of work experience in an office environment involving public contact (for external candidates only).
Experience working at a school is desirable.
Thorough knowledge of standard office procedures, practices and equipment.
Ability to operate and perform tasks on standard office equipment; computers, fax, telephone, printers, copiers, etc.
Good communication and human relation skills.
Requires excellent typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word/Excel), preferably in a Macintosh environment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.
