Responsibilities

Hamilton Company is looking for a dynamic Customer Service Representative to work in a fast-paced, complex, and detailed order processing environment.

Responsibilities include: 

• Office duties: organization, heavy daily email levels, filing, mailing, scanning, inbound order entry, e-mail order confirmations, new account set up, and answering the customer service phone loop.
• Responsible for complex order entry processing for domestic and international accounts: specialty system orders and consumable product lines, invoicing, sales order monitoring, credit memo creation, new account setups, generating return good authorizations, and handling returns thru multiple systems.
• Customer support: literature requests, quoting, samples, product availability requests, special product requests, shipping method requests, and expediting orders while providing excellent customer care.
• Reconcile quotes, purchase orders, and sales orders to drive product demand for generating order builds.
• Coordinate communication between customer service personnel, service personal, account reps, field staff, and inter-company to provide information and reports.

Qualifications

• Able to multi-task, work with multiple systems, and perform under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Able to follow procedures and learn product lines for a large product base.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.
• Skilled communicator (written and verbal).
• Proficient with computers and programs (MS Office).
• Able to problem-solve and resolve issues.
• Knowledge of MRP systems and manufacturing processes.
• Strong data management and accuracy skills.
• Works well as a team player.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college or degree completion preferred.
• A logistics background in a manufacturing environment preferred.
