WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide outstanding customer service on all calls and online inquiries
- Recommend moving services and products based on cost, availability and customer specifications
- Enter, schedule and coordinate customer moves
- Comply with federal, state, and local moving requirements when scheduling moving services and staff
- Follow-up with customers both during and after their move to ensure satisfaction
- Calmly and professionally handle customer concerns, complaints or customer service issues
- Prepare move-related paperwork and documents
- May participate in various marketing activities including networking, direct mail and charitable move coordination
- Ensure display area is maintained in a clean and professional manner; i.e. brochure stocks and box displays
- All other duties as assigned
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree in a related field preferred
- A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience
- Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
- Ability to multi-task and enter customer data into move software while on the phone
- Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques
- Confidence to initiate customer contact, and comfortable asking for the sale
- Strong team player who works productively with a wide range of people and personalities
- Creative problem solving skills
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written comprehension and communication skills
- Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Bilingual is a plus
