Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our restaurant operations at Guilford Hall Brewery! The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of the establishment. This is a leadership role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong background in the food service industry.

Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service
- Create and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other business partners
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Oversee food preparation and quality control to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction
- Train and mentor staff members to provide exceptional service
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials

Requirements:
- 5 years of proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of catering, banquet, coffee, culinary, food handling, food preparation, restaurant operations, and food production
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
